Barriacel Systems is an innovative development company creating new products across a range of industries based on light weight high impact resistance and/or insulation qualities.

These products sprang from an earlier development applied to the abrasives (sandpaper) global industry and marketed under the MRE brand name.

Stephen Dickins, founder of Barriacel/MRE developed the abrasive product and filed patents internationally for the abrasive product. The Barriacel patents were developed out of the original patent.

Subsidiary Barriacel Systems has been trialing various products for the last 5 years using this patented process.

The first Barriacel development to the market is a high impact "skid" fender product for the marine industry particularly boat marinas. The marina industry required a product that could take high impact while leaving no damage to the berth or the boat coming in contact with it.

Barriacel Systems is developing other products for the marine industry such as Flotation devices, Skids for boat trailers, Dry Docking pads, Extension floating docks, and more.
